Born Marian Grace Fleck on Sept. 16, 1918, she passed away peacefully at home with her family around her on May 24, 2007.
Marian was born in Altoona, Penn., where she grew up and then married George Francis Hoover in 1938.
They moved to Youngstown, Ohio, and started raising a family.
In 1962, they came out to California where they later celebrated over 50 years of marriage before George passed away.
Marian is survived by her children, George Jr. (Judy), Larry (Paula), Chet (Judy), Joe (Barb), Jane, Robert (Lisa); and by her numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her two great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Helen Fleck; her husband, George Hoover; daughter, Roselyn Limon; grandson, Jimmy Cook; great-grandson, Danny Hoover; and son-in-law, Dave Braasch.
The family would like to thank Stacy Barbeau, Krystyna Simm, Peggy Dayton, Betty Dougherty, Julie Dickhaut, Catholic Community Services, Erika and Jim Wittenauer and all of the wonderful people at hospice.
A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m., May 29, 2007, at Immaculate Conception in Arlington, Wash.
