Our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, nana and friend, on Oct. 23, 2007, passed peacefully on to Our Lord. Surrounded by her beloved husband and family members holding her hands, quietly and with dignity took her last breath and peacefully passed away.
She and her husband traveled the world and shared a love of hunting and other outdoor activities. While hunting, she lovingly became known as Pete by those who admired and respected this tiny, feisty red headed woman. After retiring from Control Data, she and her husband moved from Minnesota to the Seattle, Wash., area.
She was preceded in death by her father; mother; and brother.
She is survived by husband, Thomas W. McDonough; Nikki, faithful, beloved dog; children and their spouses, Lessa and David Kam, Marlene and Paul Hansen, Timothy and Karen Erickson, Michael McDonough, Kristyne and Wes Berg, Robert Hansen and Jonathan Hansen; grandchildren and their spouses, John and Tracy Hays, Jeremy and Kari Hays, Michelle and Kevin Price, Joshua Erickson, Davey and Jennifer Kam, Christopher LaPlante and Rene Rayner, Nicole and John Cangelosi, Mallory LaPlante, Shawn Erickson, Rachel Kam, Jarrod Cave, and Ashley Hansen; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Brandon, Cody, Riley, and Kaden; several brothers-in-law and sister-in-laws; and cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends.
Our deepest gratitude to the Cascade Valley Hospital staff, Kindred Hospital staff and Pastors Paul Sundberg of Trinity Lutheran Church – Lynnwood, Wash., and Pastor Richard Long of Atonement Free Lutheran Church – Arlington, Wash.
At Marilyns request, there will be no service other than a private gathering of family and friends.
