Marylin Ruth Ellis, age 77, died at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington, on Sunday, March 5, 2017. She died of complications from pneumonia. She was surrounded by her family.
Born March 28, 1939, in San Mateo, California, she lived in San Bruno and San Jose, California, before retiring in Arlington, Washington. She was a homemaker and daycare provider who loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Ellis; sister, Leilani Batters; brothers, Hermann and John Schneider; her children, Kimberlie Colapietro, Tanja Engel, Scott Ellis, David Ellis, Erick Ellis and Patricia Holt; her grandchildren, Natasha Kutina, Sabra Borquez, Christopher Ellis and Sidney Ellis, Jr.; and her great-grandchildren, Donovan Borquez, Samuel Borquez, Sydney Kutina, Vincent Borquez and Grayson Kutina.
She is preceded by her parents, Hermann and Rita Schneider, and her brother, Ralph Otto Schneider.
Services will be held at 10:45 a.m. Friday, March 24, at the Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA. Burial will be held in private for family only. Friends are welcome to celebrate Marylin’s life at the Gleneagle Golf Course, 7619 E. Country Dr., Arlington, WA 98223 at 5 p.m.
