Stanley Kono Quinores, 59, of Arlington, Wash., passed away on Oct. 23, 2007, at Bowman Bay State Park.
He was born Dec. 10, 1947, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cheryl A. Quinores, of Arlington, Wash.; three daughters, Sandrene Leilani Quinores, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; Kalea Virginia Quinores, of Mount Vernon, Wash.; Kiana Ellisa Quinores, of Arlington; brothers Ivan Quinores-Santos, of Texas; CJ Genegabus, of California; Jayson Genegabus, of Hawaii; and sister, Jackie Ching, of Hawaii; and many nieces and nephews.
Kono proudly served his country from 1967-1971, as a Navy Seal, and enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley with his many brothers and sisters, of North Cascade and Puget Sound Chapters of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.).
Kono was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Santos and father Joe Genegabus, and most recently his youngest brother, Tobey Genegabus, of Hawaii.
Kono made a lasting impression on everyones life he touched, and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Memorial will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Bowman Bay State Park.
