Tracy Ruff Sandman, 55, of Arlington, Washington, went home to be with her Lord on April 23, 2016.
Tracy was born in Havre, MT, Jan. 12, 1961, to Delmer and Dorothy Ruff. She graduated from Havre High School and attended community college in Missoula, MT, receiving an associate degree in bookkeeping.
She met her future husband of 26 years, Tim Sandman, in Bozeman, MT, on a trip for the bank she was working for. Tracy decided she needed a new challenge so she moved to Seattle to return to school.
Having followed her to Seattle, Tracy and Tim were married shortly after. After a couple of jobs that were just work, Tracy was hired at the Stanwood Senior Center and found herself at home. She spent many years using her talents and efforts to help the seniors and community of Stanwood.
Her other passion was her family. A very devoted mother to her children, she would move heaven and earth if needed to show her children love. She will be forever an inspiration to everyone lucky enough to get to know her.
There will be two celebrations of Tracy’s life.
The first will be held in Havre, MT May 8 at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church.
The celebration for her local friends and family will be held at noon Saturday, May 21, at the Church of the Nazarene in Marysville, 8240 64th St. NE.
