MONROE — The Arlington girls basketball team rallied and defeated Monroe 48-44 Dec. 7 in a non-league game. Behind 27-20 at halftime, the girls came out and out-pointed the Bearcats 7-6, and then 21-11 in the fourth. Arlington junior forward Kelsey Mellick led with 11 points, and junior guard Peyton Brown and senior guard Reily Kesselring added 10 each. Arlington’s record improved to 1-2.
