LAKEWOOD – It was a sad Senior Night for the Lakewood girls.
Not only was it the last home game for four girls on the team, they lost to Sedro Woolley 59-43.
The game was much closer than the final score, as the Cougars actually led after three periods 35-33. But the visitors blew the game wide open in the fourth period, outscoring the home team 26-8.
Senior Jelly Perry led Lakewood with a huge game of 30 points and 18 rebounds. But the rest of the team only added 13.
Coach Chris Walser started all four seniors. Emily Senyitko finished with 6 points, Faith Dahl 2 and Elizabeth Eurich did not score. Riley Molloy came off the bench to score 5.
