Marysville Getchell hung on to edge Cedarcrest 5-4 Friday.
MG scored all of its runs in the third inning. Maile Pingree led the Chargers at the plate going 3-4 with a double. Brionna Palm was the winning pitcher.
The visitors loaded the bases in the sixth, but Palm got the third out on a comebacker to the mound. She then pitched a 1-2-3 seventh for the victory.
At Archbishop Murphy, Marysville-Pilchuck had its star pitcher on the mound, but it was her hitting that sparked the Tommies to a 13-3 win.
After dealing with injuries this season, Lilianne Fischer was the winning pitcher, but she stood out more at the plate. She smashed two homers and had 3 RBI, along with scoring three times. Alissa Edge went 2-2 with a double, and she scored twice.
Baseball
Meadowdale scored two runs in the sixth inning in a come-from-behind 5-3 win over Marysville-Pilchuck Friday.
M-P held a 3-2 win up to that point.
Catcher Kevin Faulkner led the Tommies at the plate going 2-2 with a double and 2 RBI. Jordan Justice went 2-3 with a double, and Michael Testa also smacked a double.
Marysville Getchell fell to Oak Harbor 10-6 Friday.

M-P beat Meadowdale 3-1 and Lynnwood beat MG 1-0 Friday.

Jacob Burkett struck out 10 in six innings to lead the Eagles to an 8-0 win at Snohomish Friday.
He also helped himself at the plate going 1-2 with 2 RBI. Andrew Smith was 1-3 with 3 RBI.

Arlington fell to Archbishop Murphy 1-0 Friday.

Riley Mae Swanson, 9-1, struck out eight and pitched a two-hitter in blanking Nooksack Valley 10-0 Friday.
The Cougars took a 6-0 lead in the first inning and coasted from there. Catcher Ashtyn Falor went 2-2 with two doubles and 2 RBI, while scoring three times. Natalie Krueger scored four times in going 3-4 with one RBI.

Squalicum blanked Lakewood 5-0 Friday.
